Digital Innovative Learning Day 2015

Ed Tech is proud to bring back Digital Innovative Learning Day, our annual full-day conference led by BVSD educators and district leaders.

Digi Day is Saturday, April 25 at Angevine Middle School from 8:00 to 3:00

Digi Day is FREE to all BVSD staff. In fact, we are offering CDE credit (Avatar code 5781.8531) or salary credit (Avatar code 5799.8552) for interested participants.

New this year, we are opening registration to educators outside of BVSD. Participants from other districts can attend for only $25—a great deal for a full day of learning!

Read more and learn how to register on the Digi Day site.

What should you expect when you attend Digi Day?

  • Resources for flipping your classroom using digital tools
  • Using in-the-cloud apps for instruction and student-created products
  • How to get students to publish for authentic audiences
  • Many ways for students to demonstrate their learning through use of tech tools
  • How to create a collaborative learning environment with digital tools
  •  ...and many more to choose from based on your classroom and school needs!

The day will consist of three conference-style sessions with multiple options to choose from, plus two built-in collaboration times. Lunch will be provided for all participants. A preliminary schedule is posted on the Digi Day site.

What 2014 Digi Day participants said…

“I was hesitant to attend because I'm not a tech expert and I was afraid that everything would be too advanced for me. I found it useful (it was great that there were tech medics to help with individual questions!) and am planning on attending again next year!”

“My favorite in-service. Well worth the time!!!!”

“Thank you- I started using an app the next Monday to my students' benefit!!!!”

Do you want to learn something amazing that you can use immediately in your classroom? Register today!

Call for proposals

We have incredible talent and passion in our district. If you want to share your learning or something exciting happening in your classroom, please consider submitting a session proposal (deadline is March 17). Presenting at Digi Day is a great way to prepare for statewide or national conferences in a supportive, friendly environment.
